The church will continue to bleed members. I mean, it's just going to thin out.
And it's a shame. It's a beautiful tradition. There's so much in it that can really be enriching for the world we live in today.
But it can't stay with these ancient philosophies and metaphysics. I mean, we're onto cyborg life, post-humans, and androids and we're worrying whether or not we should allow women to the altar.
- Ilia Delio, Under the Moon Gate
Greetings,
Today my co-host Patrick Carolan and I are so excited to welcome Ilia Delio to the show. Ilia is a Franciscan Sister and an American theologian with a master's degree in biology and a doctorate in pharmacology.
During our conversation we talk about why science can’t be taught without theology, the origins of AI and how it was originally created to increase gender parody, Aliens and life beyond Earth, Star Trek and so much more.
I especially loved hearing Ilia talk about the origins of love in the universe, and how finding ourselves will help us stay anchored during chaotic times. You don’t want to miss this conversation!
Do you have a question or comment for the next episode of ‘Under the Moon Gate’? Respond to this email or leave a comment below to be featured on the show.
