Your Spirit Team is Waiting—But You Have to Make the First Move
You know that feeling when you get unsolicited advice you didn’t ask for?
The other day I took my daughters to an outdoor concert and the three year old tripped over the princess dress she was wearing.
Unrequested, an older woman made eye contact with me and said “Mom, you have got to cut the bottom of that dress for her!”
I smiled and nodded politely, but I could have rolled my eyes out of my head.
However, it might bring you comfort to know your guides, guardians, and angels watching over you are considerate beings who will NOT intervene on your behalf UNLESS YOU ASK them for it.
The other day my neighbor and I were talking about how his car has been in the shop for an extraordinarily long time. We’ve previously chatted about the signs his Dad gives him (his car type being one of them) so I reminded him to ask his Dad for help with the car. Our ancestors want to help us, and can have incredible abilities through the veil to make things happen on our behalf. But we can’t get them to work their magick unless we ask.
You might be asking yourself, Erin, do I have any ancestors around who were available in the Spirit World to help me?
The answer: of course!
Everyone has a Spirit Team that helps them navigate different chapters of their lives.
But most of the time—they can’t do anything unless they get your permission to do so.
We have free will as humans to live our lives without engaging or being uninterrupted by Spirit. You don’t have to believe in magick, signs, or the power of the other side to help out—you can live your whole life without acknowledging Spirit.
However, if you want MAGICK, you need to ASK FOR IT.
Here are a few ways you call upon your ancestors for help:
Is a specific question, task, or request you need help with—is your basement flooding? Do you need a promotion? Are you looking for love?
Reflect on your family lineage. Was anyone in your family (who has passed on) good at plumbing? Business? Match-making? Then, ring-a-ding-ding them for help! Whatever they were good at on Earth, they still hold those skills through the veil.
How do you ask for help?
It can be as casual as yelling “AUNT KAREN HELP ME FIND MY SOCKS!” like my daughters do, or lighting a candle near their picture and speaking to them through a prayer in your mind or out loud.
Why should you ask your ancestors?
Why not give it a try? What’s the worst that can happen?
The other day our basement was flooding and our plumber informed us the concrete floor in our basement was going to need to be excavated to replace a pipe $$$.
I went straight to my guides- “Is anyone out there who can help with our house? If we have any extra home karma saved up, I’d really love some help!”
The next day the plumber came over and was so confused when the problem was miraculously solved. I asked, and my guides showed up.
Try asking today and see what happens. It just might change your life (or your basement) forever.
